Finally! I’ve not been a Ghost fan for very long and found them, like many people did, through TikTok videos of “Mary on a Cross”. Which goes to show that TikTok can be good for something other than showcasing the worst of humanity. Anyway, when Ghost announced their recent tour, the Skeletour, there were no Canadian dates, but thankfully, here we are! My first ritual!
I worry that I’ll be going alone and have low impulse control, which means the merchandise booth will likely be an expensive event.
Showing my usual vast fiscal irresponsibility, I got the Anointed VIP package, which gets you early entry, access to the Ghost museum, VIP merch and other goodies. However, it’s only the second concert I’ve been to in the last ten years, and I am told this is the true experience. I’ve never become so enamoured with a band before, and it has to do with the music, the look and of course the lore.
