1980s Charles Bronson in a movie Robert Ebert called “a scummy little sewer of a movie,” which, if that’s not an endorsement for fun, then I don’t know what is, given Ebert’s general aversion to anything fun. It’s certainly not the best of Bronson’s movies, but it’s certainly one of the most memorable. I imagine the plight of the poor cinematography and lighting people trying to hide gratuitous ding dong for an hour and a half. They are legends.

Charles Bronson plays Charles Bronson (this joke will never get old to me, sorry), who is on the trail of a slick killer who murders women, while in the nude, who have rejected him. The killer (played by Gene Davis in one of the most delightfully over-the-top, almost cartoon-level performances I’ve ever seen) is smart and is one step ahead of Bronson and the others, including his grizzled old Captain (played by Diabeetus).

Yes. Ebert was right, in some regards, this is a trashy movie. But I’m into that. We listen and we don’t judge. It’s classic 1980’s with indisciminate female nudity and the ever present danger of Mr. Winky not being hidden by a shadow.

The acting is decent, Bronson is Bronson you either like him or you don’t but the lady playing his daughter (played by Lisa Eilbacher from Beverly Hills Cop) is the stand out.

You know who you are. Just what I’ve described you’re looking for it on some streaming platform. Don’t go pick it as a date night movie, though.
